Cat World is a free educational website covering cat breeds, health, feeding, behaviour, toys, and daily care. It is run independently by cat owners â not a veterinary practice â and exists to help people make better, calmer decisions for their cats by explaining the "why" behind every recommendation.
Why we built Cat World
Good cat advice is scattered across forums, social media, and paywalled articles â and a lot of it contradicts itself. We built Cat World to gather the genuinely useful, evidence-aligned guidance in one place, organised by the questions cat owners actually ask: Why is my cat doing this? What should I feed them? Is this symptom serious?

- Health & ailments â common conditions, symptoms, and when to see a vet.

How we research and source content
Our care and health articles are written against guidance from established veterinary and welfare organisations â including the ASPCA, International Cat Care, and Cornell Feline Health Center. Photographs are sourced from The Cat API, Cataas, and Wikimedia Commons. Videos are embedded from official YouTube channels.
